Hey there, I'm Nory—the person who plans, scouts venues, puts everything together, responds to your emails, questions and brings these retreats to life!
As a language lover fluent in four languages, I'm thrilled to join you on this journey to help you nurture or discover the joy of learning and connect with awesome, like-minded people.
I’m also a massive foodie. Spending 13 years in Italy definitely sparked my obsession with cooking, and nothing makes me happier than bringing people together through fun activities and incredible food.
With over 12 years of experience organising language exchanges and retreats across Europe, seeing people connect and become friends is my absolute passion.
I'm super excited to welcome you! I'll be here to make sure you're comfortable, relaxed, and ready to dive headfirst into the beautiful world of Spanish language and culture.

Hola mi gente bella!
I'm Eduardo, and I'm from Costa Rica.
I've been teaching languages for over ten years now. I spent a wonderful seven years teaching in China, and then I moved to the UK, where I built my own teaching business and have been running it successfully ever since!
When I started learning languages, I only spoke Spanish, my native language, but now, I speak four languages, so I really understand the challenges and frustrations that come with this journey.
I love sharing my experiences and the lessons I've learned along the way with anyone who, like me, dreams of fluency.
Oh, and a little extra about me: I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and I love cooking!

Your Native Teacher at the Manchester Urban Retreat
¡Hola!
I’m Iñigo, originally from Vitoria, Spain, and have been based in the UK since 2013.
I have 15 years of experience teaching both Spanish and technical subjects to groups and private students, and I love helping people reach their learning goals.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me on the dance floor grooving to salsa on the weekends, or in the kitchen whipping up a traditional tortilla de patatas (and yes, it always includes onion!)
Why the name PICOS?
We’ve chosen the brand name PICOS for our Spanish Immersion Retreat business because it perfectly reflects both the location and our mission.
Our retreat is the only one in the Peak District, affectionately known as "The Peaks." In Spanish, "peaks" translates to PICOS, symbolising not only the stunning natural setting but also the idea of reaching the peak of your Spanish learning journey with us.
