Transform Your Spanish Learning Journey and Connect

Immersive Spanish Retreats
in the UK

Spanish learning retreats in the UK are designed for adult learners who want to move beyond textbooks and apps and become more confident speaking Spanish in real conversations.

Choose from Residential Immersion Retreats in the Peak District or Yorkshire Dales, where Spanish is spoken throughout a 3–5-day stay, or Urban Immersion Weekends in UK cities, combining an intensive Spanish course with food and social activities.

The main benefit? Focused, immersive time actually using Spanish, helping you speak more naturally, confidently and spontaneously.

Eve

"I went on a 5-day Spanish retreat, and it's been one of the best experiences I've had learning a language. The classes and activities were fun and engaging, and we were so well looked after. The classes, food and accommodation were fab! Thank you so much, Nory and Eduardo, for such an enjoyable stay!"

Rosemary

"This was exactly what I was looking for! It was a great opportunity to gain confidence in a very supportive and friendly atmosphere - I feel much more ready to try out my spoken Spanish now."

Jacqui

"What’s great experience.
Just back from a great time at this weekend’s Spanish retreat in Derbyshire. We were 12 advanced beginners, and the immersion was a great mix of mostly Spanish with a little free time to talk in English. I’d highly recommend this immersion experience to get your spoken language flowing, and I’ll definitely be signing up for another one when I hit intermediate."

HOW THE SPANISH IMMERSION
EXPERIENCE WORK

Four simple steps to improve your Spanish fluency without going abroad.

Step One

Take a moment to choose your level, pick a date and choose your city for our in-person Spanish learning weekends. Two intensive, interactive days focused on real speaking results for A2 to C1 adult learners.

Step Two

After taking your first steps into the world of immersive Spanish with our Urban Retreats, you are ready to join us for a fantastic 72-hour weekend in the picturesque Peak District! A whole weekend where English takes a backseat, giving you the perfect opportunity to dive deep into the beauty of the Spanish language.

Step Three

The SHIFT

After a weekend fully immersed in Spanish, you’ll head home with a new mantra: 'I can do this.'
You’ll leave the fear of speaking behind, replaced by 10x the confidence and total clarity on those tricky grammar points. Best of all? You’ll walk away with a community of new friends to keep your Spanish flowing long after the weekend ends.

Step Four

Momentum & Courage

Three days might not make you fluent, but it will completely shift your trajectory.
You’ll step out of your routine, build real bonds with like-minded people, and feel your confidence skyrocket.
By the end, you won't just be studying Spanish—you'll be real-world ready. It's the ultimate launchpad to give you the courage to head to Spain finally, order that coffee, and make friends without second-guessing yourself.

WHO THE RETREATS ARE DESIGNED FOR

Every learner is different, and while everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses when learning Spanish, people usually book when:

A woman listening thoughtfully in a Spanish conversation group at a PICOS retreat

The
‘I Understand, But
Can’t Speak’ Learner

Classic Intermediate Plateau. They have a proper sentence ready in their head, but by the time they’ve translated it and checked the grammar, the conversation has already moved on, so they become reluctant to speak it.

A person using a language-learning app on a phone

The
"I'm tired of apps and learning alone" Learner

The ones with a 500-day streak on a language app but still can't order a coffee in Madrid. Often, they have great "vocabulary trivia" knowledge but zero experience with the flow of natural conversation.

A woman walking along a sunny pedestrian street in a Spanish town

The
“I Love Travel And Culture” Learner

Those who love visiting Spanish‑speaking countries and soaking up the culture, but feel stuck switching back to English when they speak. They want to speak Spanish more naturally and enjoy deeper connections with locals, finally.

A Systems Approach for Real Life

OUR TEACHING METHOD AND WHY IT WORKS

Traditional methods fail because they treat Spanish like an academic subject instead of a tool for human connection.
During the retreat, we will help you create simple routines so Spanish fits seamlessly around your existing lifestyle instead of competing with it.

Identify your “why”

The real-life situations where Spanish will matter to you (travel, connecting with friends, enjoying culture, work opportunities)

Design micro-routines

Short, consistent practices that slot into your day (morning coffee, commute, lunch break, evening wind-down), just like you were in a Spanish-speaking country.

Use your interests as content

Recipes, articles, podcasts, videos, and conversations that are already meaningful to you become your learning material.

Track progress, not perfection

We focus on steady improvement and real communication, not flawless grammar.
The Results - Spanish that feels like a natural extension of your life, not another item on your to-do list.

01

What level do I need?

A2 (Upper-Beginner): You know the basics and you can handle simple daily interactions, though you still struggle with fast speech and complex grammar.
B1–B2 (Intermediate): You can comfortably hold conversations, but might still struggle with nuanced topics or detailed vocabulary.
C1 (Advanced): You speak fluently with ease, struggling only occasionally with rare idioms or highly technical subjects.
Our retreats are not suitable for complete beginners.

02

How much does it cost?

Urban weekends (2 days) are £275 early bird for the first 3 to 4 sign-ups, then £315, with an optional Friday to Sunday townhouse stay for £395 to £425 in most cities.
Residential retreats are from £315 (3 days) or £395 (5 days), with various room options (twin- shared or doubles - single occupancy).

03

Is it Spanish only?

Our retreats feature full Spanish immersion—no or minimal English allowed. Native-led, small-group lessons (10–12 participants) give you the continuous, intensive practice you need to finally reach your breakthrough.

04

Where does it happen?

Peak District, Yorkshire Dales, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds and Birmingham. No flights, boarding pass or passport needed.

"WHY NOT JUST GO TO SPAIN?"

Fair Question. Here's why people keep choosing us instead:

No flights, no faff, no culture shock

No airport parking, no car rentals, no hidden costs. A rich, authentic Spanish experience in the Peak District. You'll feel like you've stepped into a Spanish-speaking country — while staying close to home.

You'll learn by doing

We don't hand you a textbook. You'll order food in Spanish, debate topics, and tell jokes (badly at first — that's fine).
Everyone makes mistakes; it's almost expected.
That's literally how it works.

It Won't Break the Bank

A weekend in Spain, plus flights, plus accommodation, plus lessons, plus food & drinks?
Adds up fast. This gives you everything — the practice, the culture, the friendships — for a fraction of the cost.

“Learn a language, and you’ll have one more window on the world.”
